Lucy Specialty Coffee is independent coffee export company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and working in  coffee industry for several years as a family base business. We cater to a diverse set of clients from USA, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Japan and South Africa. Committed to ensuring that our customers consistently get the best coffee the world has to offer, our dedicated team of experts work closely with the coffee farmers in Ethiopia constantly re-innovating the styles of coffee production to increase quality and efficiency. Developing coffee growth strategies and plans.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Contribute in the implementation of coffee sales and marketing strategies
  • Organize and attend sales & marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses;
  • Managing and retaining relationships with new and existing coffee clients
  • Having in-depth knowledge on coffee sector
  • Negotiating with coffee clients
  • Actively respond to client emails
  • Prepare Coffee proforma invoice
  • Knowledge on coffee export documentation
  • Searching for coffee market internationally and locally
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule;
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Update client information in the company contact database;
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Coordinate sales effort with coffee department and other departments, research and generate or follow through sales leads;
  • Prepare and present weekly reports
  • Performs other duties assigned by Managing Director, as required;

Job Requirement

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Business Administration, or related field/MBA
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the coffee export sector
  • Experience in digital marketing 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
