Each year, the ARES offers the chance to pursue a one-year specialised master’s degree programme or a 4-to-6-month advanced training course within a higher education institution of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Belgium.

Eligible Masters and Training courses in the fields of aquaculture, health, food technology, economics, international development, GIS, information technology, agriculture, environment, human rights, microfinance, etc.

150 Masters scholarships and 70 training scholarships are available.
Nationals of Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Ethiopia (only for training courses in English), Haiti, Madagascar, Morocco, Niger, Peru, the Philippines, the DR Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, and Vietnam
The scholarship covers international travel expenses, living allowance, registration fees, insurance, housing allowance, etc.

Applicants should not obtain prior admission to one of the Francophone universities in Belgium in order to be considered for ARES grants.
